• Dr. Sumit Mrig is a highly accomplished ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Surgeon based in New Delhi, with over 22 years of professional experience.

• He has specialized expertise in sialendoscopy for removing salivary gland stones, as well as anterior and lateral skull base surgeries.

• Recognized as one of the youngest cochlear implant surgeons in India and Asia, he has performed over 500 cochlear implant surgeries in the last decade.

• Dr. Mrig has successfully treated international patients from countries including Kenya, Sudan, Rwanda, Bangladesh, Iraq, Turkmenistan, Russia, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.

• He made history by becoming the first Indian surgeon to establish an independent cochlear implant program in Africa.

• Dr. Mrig pioneered binaural cochlear implantation in India, leading the team that performed the country’s first such surgery.
